Welcome to Dig with Doug
I don’t just plant gardens—I create lush, thriving ecosystems designed to enrich your home, support songbirds, and cultivate beauty with purpose. My site specific, lush landscapes blend edible gardens, climate-resilient plantings, and wildlife-friendly designs to transform your outdoor space into a living masterpiece.

📖 Workshops & Resources – Learn hands-on skills from me and deepen your environmental knowledge through my monthly workshops.
🏡 Garden Design & Consultation – Need help planning a bird-friendly, drought-conscious, or regenerative garden? I offer a bespoke approach to garden design & services. As we get to know one another, I will tailor the garden of your dreams to your lifestyle, aesthetic, and ecological values.
🌱 Native & Heirloom Seeds – Backland Prairies are the backbone of my designs in Dallas / Fort Worth and Mid-Cities Metroplex. Occasionally I have a surplus of plants and seeds that just won't squeeze into any of the gardens . Dig up some of these awesome natives!
